On the deepest level, one could answer by using the metaphor of a list of ingredients that make up a cake. Add equal parts independence and sensitivity; mix in strength, vulnerability, confidence, protectiveness, and passion, the belief that one can agree to disagree, and the idealistic belief that one can be childlike without being childish, and you will have some of the ingredients that are me. There are far too many to list and they are just as much subjective as they are objective.

On a more superficial level, I have a job I enjoy. I am blessed with a comfortable home and there is nothing material I can think of that I need. Yes, there are things that I want. Sometimes I get what I want; sometimes I do not. Regardless, I am grateful for all I have in my life.

There are many things I enjoy doing. Again, too many to list. Often, it isn't always what one is doing, as it is the one you are doing it with.

Above all, I look to my faith for guidance and comfort. Grace is an amazing gift. My life has been blessed with it.
