I am a teacher at heart (and in profession!) I love people and community. I am a fan of diversity and enjoy trying new things. I consider myself a fairly open person who likes to have fun and laugh a lot. I am creative, enjoy the outdoors and love dogs! I am the type of person who generally doesn't "beat around the bush, " and would prefer to not play any games in regard to relationships. I appreciate diversity (meaning I generally prefer men from another ethnicity/race) and being with others who are not exactly the same as me -. I love summer and am currently enjoying the pool and the garden!

Some of my favorite activities are movies, going out to eat, and going to a park or walking around a lake hand in hand with someone special. I love watching the football game on Sunday afternoons. I love a good thunderstorm. I prefer quiet cozy places over wild and crazy. I am not high maintenance and enjoy the simple things in life. I am kind of old fashioned and I like it when a man opens the door for me.

My friends tell me (and I actually took a survey!) I am funny, outgoing, easy to talk to, laid back, expressive, up for doing different things, accepting...maybe not the most sensitive person in the world (or else I really am but don't like showing it!), blunt (not in a mean way!) and very supportive. I have an education in the arts (Masters in Music - Operative Vocal Performance) but am working in the world of technology as a Project Manager overseeing incentive programs/creating and managing web sites. I think my job is "okay" but I stay mainly because I love my co-workers and clients. I've been at the same company for 16 years.

I'm a hard working guy who likes to have fun occasionally, playing music with my band. Other things I do or used to do include Tennis, Jogging, Biking, and downhill skiing. But generally I like to play guitar or computer games when I have free time.

I do know that I am a happy person who tries to live her life with few regrets. I smile a lot and embrace the laugh lines that I have earned. I consider myself intelligent and fairly funny. I guess you would have to judge that for yourself. I'm a big fan of the arts. My favorite thing about living in the Twin Cities is all the quality theater, music and art events. I enjoy live sporting events but rarely watch sports on TV.

I've been heavy all of my life. I'm working on getting into better shape but will never be a thin gal. If talking were a sport, I would be A LOT thinner. I can be an amazing listener as well. Communication skills are so important and help to build a full relationship. Intimate experiences are heightened if you can communicate intellectually and emotionally as well.

Work (I like my job), work events, charity work, friends and family keep me busy, however; they don't keep me from getting lonely once in a while. Are you affectionate? Do you like to kiss? Hold hands? Kissing is key.

Music is a huge part of my life. I have over 5000 songs in my iTunes library that I listen to regularly...just hit the shuffle button. I am a pretty chill guy. Nothing really gets me rattled except the Republican Party. I am into just about everything, although I cant dance to save my life. I probably look like Elaine on Seinfeld. Other than dancing, Im game for whatever. I love baseball and hockey and go to as many games as possible. It would be great if I could find a women who would stand up and shout with me at Wild Games and Twins games, but that isn't a requirement. My idea of a fun date would be a night out with good food, good wine, a good intelligent conversation, a good un-intelligent conversation...just for laughs, and some good music. I am not really into the bar scene where you go to be seen. I prefer real people...not the fake bravado you get at nightclubs. I live and work in Downtown Minneapolis so I chose not to own a car, and that is probably a big disqualifier for some women, but if not...cool. If I ever moved out of DT I'd need one, but for now I walk since I'm a block from the skyways.
