I'm a very independant woman that enjoys good conversation, long drives, laughter. I love music(neo-soul, blues, jazz, live music) I'm really laid back, I don't get excited about the silly things in life. I can appreciate the simple things in life and the finer things also. Not really into the club scene. Found that you can't really find any quality in a club.

I love to laugh. I try to find the fun in every situation, but enjoy everything more if I am with my son, friends or someone equally open to enjoying the moment. I like to be challenged, so enjoy any type of competitive activity. I play softball, and I play at golf (my skill level does not allow me to say that I actually play golf). I really enjoy card games, board games, video games, watching sports games, games, games and more games. I love to be outdoors, especially in sunny weather. The heat of the sun warms my soul and music makes it dance. I have music on whenever I can and though I was overlooked when singing voices and rhythm were handed out, I sing and dance through life. I love to try new things and travel to new places, which I have been fortunate to get to do quite extensively for my job.

Okay I'm ready to reveal the real me! I'm a firm believer that we all grow older but we don't have to act older! I enjoy and appreciate each day and want to live it to the fullest whether that means exercising, working in my garden, reading a great book, savoring a good meal, or just sitting and watching the birds. I do it all with gusto and enthusiasm. I'm highly opinionated and despite my age am still a passionate liberal. I love animals of all kinds, even reptiles, and my classroom when I was teaching was a veritable zoo. I support animal and environmental causes as well as other charities. I believe in giving back when you are able, and as a concerned citizen of the world I would like to see all peoples of all colors and creeds stand together as one people and work to save our critically endangered planet.

I'm a fairly laid-back personality, and people tell me I'm a great friend! For most of my work career I've worked in the educational field, but I'm not a teacher. I've also been a legal secretary. I have a good education, and I'm well read. I'm closing in on retirement now, and am looking forward to that. I hope to have someone really wonderful in my life to share those years with.

I have a very easy personality and can get along very easy with everyone.I like to draw my attention to the date that I am with and treat her with kindness and communicating with her.
I'm also very much into the outdoors and nature and enjoy the fresh air of the countryside.
I work for the government and enjoy my work. It is a very career oriented job and you receive a lot of satisfaction when you complete a project.
I enjoy fishing, going to the coast, hunting, jogging, watching sporting events, Blazer games, as well as football and having a nice dinner and some dancing too. Also nice long drives are fun too! Especially during the fall when the leaves are turning color and falling and the backdrop of a nice sunset too.
I am always happy all the time and enjoy it too!
I also do enjoy children, so it would not be a problem if you have children living with you.
I enjoy working out, such as a spin class, lifting weights, and the stairstepper. I enjoy bike rides as well in the country.

Let's see a little about myself.... Well, I just moved from NW Portland out to the burbs and..... don't like it. So I'll probably be moving back. As for me personally I'm pretty laid back, when I first meet people I tend to be a bit quiet, not shy. I just like to see who I'm dealing with before opening up. I'm pretty independent and enjoy my alone time ( I'm with someone I truly like).

My friends would tell you that I'm usually very easy to get along with, can "go with the flow", fun to be around and usually up for an adventure! I work hard when it's time to work but can leave all that behind when the work day is done. I'm an optimist by nature and do believe life is what we make it.
