Greetings to all, what would you like to know? I am divorced mother of three (grandmother of two) and a registered nurse by trade. I have varied interests, and like to laugh and live. I am not into the club scene or the singles scene (I'm a grown-up) I enjoy politics, knowledge (documentaries, trivia, etc), spectator sports, the performing arts, music (classical and contemporary as well as jazz and old school), movies (classics are my fav), and too many other things to mention. i love to tease and joke, enough money to pay my bills but if i had an impossible dream it would be to have all the money i wanted and not have to work so i could enjoy life.as far as a career i always wanted to get my license to sell insurance. ..i have a job in insurance that i love..and just another small note.. anyone can always change to adept to a new situation..believe me i have most definately experienced that!!!!!! i had my gastric bypass in april of 08 and as of may 11 i have lost 30 lbs..update to the guys who have viewed me.. i'm really shaping up..70 pounds down since surgery.. i can now shop in the misses dept now..i'm told every day how skinny i am..not !!!!!!but i guess you could say skinny compared to what i was in feb 08..

:) I just moved back to texas a little while ago and it's been awhile since I've lived in a huge city (been on a rock in the middle of the pacific). I've found that it's a bit hard to meet people of substance around here. Maybe we can change that? I consider myself quite adventuresome, but to look at me I'm not sure that would be one's first impression. I don't like stereo types and try to break barriers wherever I can; respectfully though. If you dive, I could use a dive buddy here; although I've never been diving in fresh water! I enjoy bowling, billiards and other random bar games, though I'm not a huge drinker. Every now and again a day calls for being sloshed, but not all the time...

I recently moved to Texas to be near my family. Family is very important to me... afterall, I did leave paradise. With this said, I am not looking to start my own family. I hate to say I never want kids, but it would have to be a very special situation. I love my independence. I love to travel and consider myself to be a nomad of sorts. Recreationally, I enjoy scuba, hiking, photography, camping, or even watching Nat'l Geography. I enjoy learning new things, so if you're educated and have travelled, that's a plus.

I am a hard working young lady. I'm straight forward sometime. I am a Christian, Methodist to be exact. I enjoy family, friends, going to movies, and working. It may be hard to believe but my party days are long gone. If I'm not working i am making something (painting, home improvement, something in the arts).

I like someone who enjoys participating in recreational sports, traveling, exploring new adventures, art, music, dancing and just being active in life.Being a homebody is nice on occasion, but why waste time by sitting there and watching life pass you by. I'm a social butterfly, so someone who has that ability to handle and participate in social setting with friends and family.

The thing that makes me laugh is someone who can roll with the punches when it comes to his and my quick wit (only for joking purposes). One who's not afraid to laugh at themselves and keeps on going.

My main goals in life are to feel that I have done a decent job of raising my girls so that they will be positive, productive, self-sufficient and strong women in society, definitely doing things that God has called me to do, possible be a foster or adoptive parent one day and to go back to school.
