I am 25. I play guitar in a band in Bothell, which I am aspiring to do professionally someday. I love music, mostly rock and metal, but a little of everything. I love cheesy 80's music and movies too. I am a good but no b.s. type of guy that is looking for the same in a girl.

Every evening, well...most every evening, I'm home with the dawgs. I enter the house and having left the television running before I left for work, I'm greeted by happy yowls, generous licks, glad paws and human sounds, all of it familiar and important. The canine family aroused and excited at my presence, I don't have any immediate thoughts or feelings of being lonely. And, so many evenings begin and cycle interminably. But, I should say that there is a comfort, a calm that's resonant, a safety and a sense that this is what it should be for now. I think as often (as any single man) of the things all guys do, in particular the need to satisfy basic urges and desires, follow the oft read and worn script of my biology. But, incredibly, I recognize that a subtext has become more relevant and important to me. And it has less to do with sex.
