I am entering the "It's my turn again" phase of my life, as my last children go to college soon. I want to be ready: in better shape, and maybe having found someone to care about. Could he be you?

(Just so you know, my idea of "roughing it" is a hotel room with no hot tub. Even Super 8 has them these days, it's not as snobby as it sounds.) That means I will wait at home or sightsee while you go fishing, camping, motorcycle riding, rock climbing...you get the idea!

On the other hand, I LOVE beaches at sunset and then building sand castles in the dark, right at the edge of the water, and confusing little children who build them by day, and watching crabs scuttling around.

I read a lot... James Patterson, Richard North Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Carl Hiaasen, Christopher Moore... Tons of non-fiction.

I like being outside in mild weather. I'd like to end up in central Arizona or New Mexico when the kids are in college and I'm on my own.
